Surely someone else out there has already had to resolve this, or HP knows what they put in the system when they made it and have it documented somewhere. Once reported, our staff will be notified and the comment will be reviewed. I think this is the right driver because it is the one offered in the MLRaid controller section on the HP support site but even having opened the case, I can’t make a positive ID of the card in question. I have downloaded, extracted and attempted to use cp in the F6 bit of the server install, but it just keeps asking for the manufacturers hardware disk. I’m hoping that that wasn’t the wrong thing to do.

I had a similar situation on a bunch of HP DLs a couple of years ago, they came with. I don’t know what version it is.

I’ve downloaded and unpacked the other drivers on offer on the ML storage controller driver list. Many many thanks for any help. Or should I be looking for a different driver?

The label on the front of the case says “Proliant ML”, no G number. How do I know which one to use?
